How to upload evidence in goiso

An uploaded file links to a clause or an inspection.

Evidence is uploaded on the work card — the task or the inspection — never on the clause: the clause is a mirror, not a repository, and filing the document where the work happened is what makes it living proof.

Steps

  1. Open the work card from its board (or from the clause expansion — it opens in a new tab).
  2. Read the card's "Accepted evidence" line: it is the acceptance yardstick — the document type and its minimum contents.
  3. Click Attach and pick the file: a document, a photo, or a record.
  4. Add a short caption stating what the evidence proves.
  5. Save — the card greens and its clause reflects on the compliance board instantly.

What makes evidence acceptable

  • Matches the spec: it satisfies the accepted-evidence text literally (dated photos where photos are asked, signed minutes where minutes are asked).
  • Clear: readable and self-explanatory.
  • Current: valid, not expired.
  • In place: on its correct card, not in a generic folder.

The AI advisor reviews files against the very same accepted-evidence text — a non-matching file is flagged for human review.
