How to make an audit clause compliant (green)

Two ways to green a clause: link evidence or request it.

A clause mirrors its cards: it greens when all of its cards are done with their evidence — you never color it by hand; there is no attest and no uploading onto the clause itself.

Steps

  1. On the standard page, click the clause — it expands in place, showing its cards and its plan rows.
  2. A row with a "Missing" badge? Click Seed it and pick the assignee — assigning it to a colleague IS requesting the evidence from them.
  3. Open the card on its board (opens in a new tab) and actually do the work.
  4. Attach the evidence on the card itself — its "Accepted evidence" line tells you exactly what the auditor accepts.
  5. Return to the board: the clause has reflected on its own.

Two rules that never lie

  • A card closed without a document stays amber forever — closing is not proof.
  • A periodic inspection lives by the calendar, not the click: the last documented cycle greens it, and a late next cycle degrades it to amber, then red once a full cycle is missed.
